• Percentile ranks are based on comparison to all animals in the Pfizer Animal Genetics database as of July 2010, using the "Group Ranked Against" as the base. For breeds who have reached a significant number of animals, this base is the respective breed. For those breeds who have yet to reach that threshold, animals are compared against all Bos Taurus animals (for Bos Taurus breeds) or all Bos Indicus animals (for Bos Indicus breeds and hybrid Bos Taurus/Bos Indicus breeds).
